Responsibilities:

 • Identify key performance metrics and benchmarks related to user behavior, user segmentation, in-game inventory, item pricing, and marketing and social media campaign virality to inform game production and marketing efforts.
• Evaluate and quantify the effect of ongoing changes to games and in-game inventory through statistical methods.
• Perform detailed data exploration and validation to identify key trends and make informed recommendations.
• Effectively communicate key insights through internal reports and automated dashboards.
• Interface with internal clients and project stakeholders to ensure available data is applied for its best use to the organization.
• Meaningfully contribute to the evolution of tools for tracking and understanding in-game inventory and economies, player behavior, and virality of on-line and social media.

Skills:

• 3-5 years experience performing quantitative analysis, preferably for an internet or technology company
• Excellent SQL skills: extensive experience querying large, complex data sets
• High proficiency with Excel including pivoting capabilities, macros, and analysis modules
• Working knowledge of basic statistics; experience with R, SAS or similar a plus
• Experience with Tableau or other data visualization software and method a plus
• Ability to execute research projects, and generate practical results and recommendations
• Good client management skills with a strong grasp of both technical and business perspectives
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to meet changing deadlines and priorities on multiple simultaneous projects
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Enjoy working in both individual and team settings
• B.S. or B.A. in math, economics, engineering or other technical field required; advanced degrees a plus

Required Skills:

  • Strong Portfolio of 3D Models
    • Ability to create high resolution & real time game models.
    • Ability to create normal maps through texture sampling required!
    • Displays an understanding of Prop and Structure model creation.
    • Displays an understanding of creating modular systems for use in environments.
  • Displays ability or potential to create models& textures that adhere to the product’s art style.
  • Possess advanced skills in 3D content authoring package; 3D Studio Max preferred.
  • Proficiency in zBrush highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop required.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-Motivated individual open to learning new skills and sharing their knowledge.

Additional skills requested:

  • Professional experience a plus, but not a requirement for candidates displaying required artistic aptitude.
  • Unity experience a plus (or a similar commercial game engine like UDK, Source, etc.)
  • Technical experience such as shader creation, max scripts, etc., a plus.
